DESCRIPTION:First Congregational Church\, Canandaigua's "Chosen Spot Players" Summer Musical Camps Return for 2026!\n\nThe First Congregational Church of Canandaigua is proud to announce the return of our Summer Musical Theater Camps for 2025. Directed by Heidi Reybrouck\, these fun camps are available for children grades K-9. \n\n\n\nMUSICAL THEATER CAMP Join us for two unforgettable weeks of music\, creativity\, and performance! Our Musical Theater Camp\, running July 6-17\, 9 AM to 3 PM\, is perfect for young performers who love to sing\, dance\, and act. Campers will learn musical theater songs\, choreography\, acting techniques\, and even contribute to the scriptwriting process as we create and perform their very own show. This two-week camp fosters collaboration\, confidence\, and creativity while bringing a production to life on stage. *While designed for ages 11-15 (Grades 6-9)\, younger children (experienced campers ages 8-10) are welcome to join if they're ready for the challenge! \n\n\n\nMUSICAL SHOWCASE CAMP For a more condensed experience\, check out our Musical Showcase Camp running July 20-24\, 9 AM to 12 PM\, specifically tailored for younger performers ages 5-10 (Grades K-5). This one-week program offers a fun introduction to musical theater with singing\, dancing\, crafts\, and games\, culminating in a short showcase performance. The "Showcase" is a chance for campers to present what they've learned throughout the week in an informal and supportive setting.\n\n\n\nSpots are limited\, so don't wait to secure your child's place in these exciting camps!\n\nTwo-week camp tuition is $300\, One-week showcase tuition is $150 * Scholarship opportunities are available by contacting Rev.
