Mental Health First Aid Course
Wednesday, February 28 | 1:00-5:00 PM Thursday, February 29 | 1:00-5:00 PM Adult Mental Health First Aid consists of 8 hours of instructor-led training. Mental Health First Aid is an early intervention public education program. It teaches adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health challenge, how to listen non-judgmentally and give reassurance to a person who may be experiencing a mental health challenge, and how to refer a person to appropriate professional support and services. Participants are asked to pay directly to URMC at a discounted rate of $32.00 per participant. For registration information contact Kristen Seyfried at 585-396-6111.
