2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of the Passage of the XIX Amendment to the U.S. Constitution that granted women the right to vote. The Ontario County Historical Society will celebrate this historic occasion with A Public Reception At the Historical Museum 55 North Main Street Canandaigua and Exhibit on the Women’s Suffrage Movement. Thursday - January 30, 2020 At 6:30 PM Wilma Townsend museum curator will speak at 7PM on Ontario County’s role in this landmark event in human rights. Beverages and light snacks will be served.
