What is a "Monotype"? A monotype is a form of printmaking that involves 'painting' with printmaking ink and then printing your image onto paper with a traditional etching press. The result is a one-of-a-kind image that cannot be reproduced by hand! This class is best for those who have previous drawing or art-making experience, but it is not required. Bring your own reference photo, drawing or come with your imagination. We will start the class with a demonstration of the technique and then everyone will be open to create their own image! Cost of the workshop is $35 and includes all supplies.
