About Us

Ontario County Historical Society operates a museum and research center pertaining to the history of Ontario County. Our current exhibit, From Studio Portraits to Snapshots: Stories Captured on Film in Ontario County gives a history of the photographic process, highlights county photographers, and exhibits scenes from throughout Ontario County. Through the museum's partnership with the Ontario County Arts Council, visitors can also enjoy quarterly exhibits produced by Arts Council members. Admission to the museum exhibits is free but donations to support our organization are greatly appreciated. Please visit our website at www.ochs.org for information on our programs, tours, and events. We are open year-round.
